
The Chicago International Film Festival’s Junior Board is a diverse group of enthusiastic, professionals dedicated to promoting the mission of Cinema/Chicago and to heightening interest in international cinema across a broad demographic.
The Junior Board assists in fundraising to support Cinema/Chicago’s Educational Outreach Program, which uses film as an effective tool to promote literacy, critical thinking skills, and cultural understanding to motivate at-risk Chicago Public School students through screenings, discussions and workshops.
Founded in 1989, the Junior Board has grown to become one of the most vibrant associate boards in Chicago and hosts events that have become highlights of the social season.
